Agresso 5.5 Workshop a great success
In March this year, Totalamber made the Agresso user community in the UK aware of its Agresso 5.5 Workshops being held across the UK in 2009, including invitations to our first Workshop being held at our offices in Knutsford, Cheshire on 23rd April.
This Agresso 5.5 Implementation / Upgrade Methodology Workshop was aimed at organisations who are about to embark upon one particular journey, the upgrade process from v5.4 to v5.5. Totalamber are currently assisting a number of clients with their upgrade process and there are some key strategies we have developed to enable our clients to prepare correctly and overcome the obstacles more easily, efficiently and within a controlled environment.
The workshop was facilitated by Fuaad Buras, Totalamber’s Managing Director and ERP Programme/Project Manager, and Tom Vandezande our Senior Agresso Project Manager/Implementation Consultant. Together they shared an insight into the following key areas:
• Implementation / Upgrade Methodology (Phases, hints and tips)
• Readiness Evaluation: Is your organisation ready for the journey? (Checklist)
• Post implementation issues (The common issues that arise after Go Live and how to avoid them)
• Agresso 5.5 Clinic/Open forum (5.5 differences, features and business benefits, issues and risks)
The agenda attracted a number of delegates from a variety of different industries, including education, not for profit, local government and the private sector. Running at full capacity with fifteen delegates attending the feedback from the event was fantastic and everyone agreed they had gained relevant knowledge and experiences from both Totalamber and the other delegates who were given the opportunity to share their experiences within the open forum session.
