A large London Borough Council recently reviewed the performance of their Finance Function and their Agresso Business World Implementation. Following a Strategic Review, they defined a roadmap for improving the performance of finance and set up a programme to govern this work.

Totalamber were chosen to provide a Project Team consisting of Functional Project Management, Implementation and Technical Consultancy to assist with all technical aspects of the project.

As part of this programme a number of initial projects have been determined to maximise the value from the existing Agresso investment.

1. Upgrade versions from v5.4 to 5.5.3
2. Implementing accruals accounting
3. Re-implementing the purchase to pay process as an “end to end” process
4. Integrating Forecasting, Budgeting and Actuals reporting within Agresso.

Totalamber will also be assisting with all these projects, also the replacement of AS400 interfaces design and Management Information improvements.

Over the last twelve months Totalamber have also provided assistance with the councils middleware environment and will continue to add specialist support throughout the Finance Improvement Programme in 2009.
