Totalamber provide Project Management for Agresso 5.5 upgrade project with Primary Care Trust.
Totalamber have recently engaged with a large Primary Care Trust to provide Project Management of their major change programme, an Agresso Business World upgrade to version 5.5. The key vision is to help provide a common finance and procurement system throughout the trust enabling budget holders to take ownership for financial and business results.
The Project has a number of Project Objectives including:
• Migration from the current version of Agresso 5.4sp5 to Agresso 5.5sp3
• Use of additional functions and features within Agresso to increase automation of the system where possible i.e. introduce trust wide e-requisitioning or e-procurement
• Use of additional functions and features within Agresso to increase efficiencies within the Trust
• Alignment of business procedures to support best practice use of the new system
• Provision of a single point for accurate data capture. To improve quality and nature of management information. To create a more efficient technical environment for management of servers.
Totalamber are working alongside the Trust to provide specific experience in the management of the project. With experience of both new implementations and upgrades and, having previously worked for Agresso, our Project Manager has experienced a variety of complex, high value projects and has managed Agresso implementations for organisations across a number of industry sectors. He has had responsibility for the management of large teams involving internal and external resources combined with third party service providers. Combining his Agresso knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, he has advised a number of organisations on the most appropriate changes to business process and managed the implementation of the change. This has resulted in him developing a pragmatic approach to communication with key stakeholders and he is an accomplished communicator and negotiator, with significant experience in the handling of political issues and negativity surrounding change.
We have been assisting the Trust since July 08 and will continue to drive the project forward until go live in 2009.
