Support
The Support service provided by Totalamber assists an organisation with the transition of a project from a test environment into a live operational system.
 
During deployment of the system, business continuity needs to be maintained and disruption to the existing live system needs to be minimised. In addition, where the new system includes changes to the business process, the new processes need to be seamlessly integrated into the new environment to ensure minimal disruption to the delivery of services to clients. Handover into the live environment needs to be managed and co-ordinated to ensure the new application or service is utilised in the most efficient manner. This phase in the project delivery lifecycle should also include a post-implementation review to ensure the system is delivered according to the commercial agreements and service levels and that all strategic objectives have been met.
 
Finally, handover of the system into the support environment should be effected. This transitions the system away from the delivery function and into the organisation. Helpdesk configurations will need to be updated to ensure the system is correctly handled and helpdesk staff will need to be trained on any new areas of operation or support provided by the system.
