Scope
This phase in the lifecycle of a project’s development defines the extent and limitations of the requirement. 

At this stage, a Totalamber consultant will work with a client to agree what is included within a project and any stages for implementation. Integration with legacy systems will be identified at this stage and supporting technologies will be considered. Organisations may mandate specific technologies and methodologies for the delivery of systems and services and these will be considered at this stage to determine suitability for the project under consideration. Other corporate issues, such as security, data management strategies, business continuity and governance will be incorporated at this stage which will also include a review of the required delivery approach – insourcing, outsourcing and use of third-party software and service vendors. 

The scoping of the project will also provide an indication of the delivery roadmap which provides an indicative overview of the project and anticipated milestones for delivery.
