IT Management or Accounting designation with 7+ years of financial/business experience is essential as is extensive system implementation experience using AGRESSO, in particular versions 5.4 and 5.5.3 with proven knowledge in the modules Financials, Logistics, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Planner and Excelerator. Organizational Context
Our client is in the process of moving towards the adoption of International Public Accounting standards (IPSAS) for its financial and accounting reporting beginning January 2010. During this process, it is necessary for them to make the requisite changes to its financial performance control system (FPCS).

Totalamber is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to be a part of the IPSAS implementation project team to assist Information Communication Management (ICM) and Finance Branches in adapting and upgrading FPCS to be IPSAS compliant.

Main Functions
In consultation with Information Communication Management (ICM) and Finance Branches:

To assist in the process of design, development and testing of the financial performance control system (FPCS) in the clients adoption of IPSAS.

To implement new IPSAS compliant business processes and functionality in FPCS.

Perform GAP analysis to determine differences in system implementation between current and proposed IPSAS compliance version.

Document and outline IPSAS system procedures and cases for testing data in client-specific AGRESSO modules.

Make recommendations for performing parallel testing and comparison of the input, process and output of relevant modules on the AGRESSO Test and Production environment with documentation worthy of audit.

Develop deployment deliverables for procedures, notifications, and timing for placing an IPSAS compliant version of FPCS based on AGRESSO version 5.5.3 into production.

Required Competencies
Proven knowledge of IPSAS or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Experience in business process analysis & workflow design.

Knowledge of business intelligence, SQL and reporting tools preferred.

Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
