A large project engineering company providing the global energy sector with projects, solutions and manpower trusts Totalamber IFS Support Centre to support its user community in Scandinavia.
The organisation was implementing IFS as its ERP solution across a number of countries starting with Scandinavia. The rollout to the rest of their global sites would commence shortly after a successful go live. The Management Team wanted the IFS solution to be supported effectively enabling the business users to conduct their roles and tasks with minimum disruption.
It was quickly realised by the leadership team within the business that a number of additional resources, skills, tools and capabilities were needed to support the new IFS application effectively.
Totalamber worked with the organisation to develop a partnership and provide end users with effective IFS support through 1st, 2nd and 3rd line. After conducting an SNA (Support Needs Analysis) and creating a framework for an effective and sustainable support function it was agreed that Totalamber would provide an IFS Gold Support to ensure end users have coverage across software, data, system administration, functional modules, reporting and training. Additionally, Totalamber have allocated subject matter experts within the Support Team structure to deal with all functional areas within the customer’s set up, including Finance, Procurement, HR, CRM and Project.
